Wooo Hooo… Private Practice for SMART People is ready to launch!
We are kicking it off with a 1-hour Q & A Teleconference slated for Thursday February 23rd 2012 at NOON (eastern standard time).
I got such a great response from the survey (thanks for participating!), and what I found is that you have lots of interests and questions when it comes to building and developing a successful Private Practice.
So… I figured it would be a good idea to take our first meeting together to just “open it up” so we can find out what you really need to know NOW! All you have to do is get comfortable, and call in — and you’ll be part of the action.
The virtual conference room we are using has room for only 96 callers. So, be sure to click here and SIGN UP NOW to save you spot.
It’s true that you can always listen to the recording later if you can’t be with us, but if you can, I’d really love for you to be to be on the call with us, asking questions, commenting, or just feeling motivated by the synergy that will come when we are all together talking about success in Private Practice.
Here is the link for you to sign up now. Once you sign up, you will get a confirmation email (to verify that it was really you who signed up — I really value your email privacy so I put in lots of precautions). Click on that confirmation link and you’ll be signed up for the FREE Teleconference and I’ll send you the phone number and access code so you can join us on February 23rd at noon (E.S.T.).
I can’t wait to be with you as we kick of Private Practice for SMART People. Bring all of your questions — no question is too small or too big. We’ll address as many as possible in our time together.
Talk to you on February 23rd — SIGN UP NOW!
I had already scheduled someone at that time so I’d LOVE to hear to recording later!!!
One question I had that burns in my mind every day…now that I’m FULL TIME PRIVATE PRACTICE AND SCARED TO DEATH!.
How do you find time to take care of the insurance billing? With so many different ones and EAP’s, it seems I can never find time except at this ungodly hour of the night to do it!
Thanks!
@Dianne – Now that you have a full time practice, you may want to consider a practice management system to save you time (and therefore money) when it comes to billing, notes, record-keeping, etc. I invested in a program over 10 years ago that has paid for itself over an over again. There are programs now that are web-based and for which you are billed monthly (this might help with your cash flow). Another option some of my colleagues use is to hire a billing person who will come and pick up and drop off your billing each week or two. If you find the right person, this is also a reasonable option. However, it does not give you all of the benefits of a complete practice management system. You may “save money” by doing it yourself, but if you are doing that at the wee hours of the morning — what is it really costing you?
I really wish I could join you but I work FT Mon-Fri. I’ll listen to the recording. Sorry you can’t do it on a Saturday!
@ Deb – I’ll make the replay links available.
Want to start part-time practice in Maryland, but scared. Help!
@ Sharil – Fear isn’t a bad thing as long as you don’t get lost in it! We usually fear new things and big changes. Identify the roots of your fears and deal with them one at a time. Like they say… “feel the fear and do it anyway!” Check out our webinar link: http://influentialtherapist.com/training/?p=1&hop=j2275
