Doesn’t being on insurance panels give you an advantage when it comes to referrals?

The answer is simple...

You see - even though being on more insurance panels may allow you to see more clients who carry the insurance you accept…

You're pretty much never getting reimbursed for your true session fee…

And if you have lots of Medicaid patients you're getting even less!

For example:

I was on a call with a coaching client today - We'll call her Anna...

Anna has her own small practice. One office, and a waiting area. She primarily sees Medicaid clients.

Which means she's getting paid a LOT less than she would if this wasn't the case...

And, she's NOT getting paid at all when one of them cancels late or "no-shows" and appointment.

But Anna was reluctant to want to change anything...

First off, she really likes the population.

Second (and the biggest issue from Anna's perspective) was her question of:

"How am I going to replace those appointments?"


Which is very common and understandable objection to making a change...

But as we walked through the actual math...I showed her how by "playing their game"...

At the end of the day... she is making $28 an hour...

BEFORE TAXES!

Now, think about this -- with Uncle Sam taking 30% of that...

How can you ever expect to pay off $100,000+ worth of student loans while making only $19 an hour?

But here's the good news...

Let's say Anna's true fee is $100 per session -
