What a great idea, Deb! Now in my case — since I’m just getting started in private practice — it’s potential referral sources, but I can do that. Thanks and wishes for a great 2014!
@John – That’s right John. In the Book Yourself Solid(R) system we distinguish these efforts. “Networking” involves deepening relationships with existing “customers” (referrers). “Direct Outreach” is about getting to know people you don’t yet know but should know (potential referrers). The efforts are very similar — sharing who you know, what you know, and how you feel. It’s all about relationships!
