One thing I discovered this year about the members of our community is that We Are SMART!
We are SMART enough to know the power of being in a community of like-minded individuals who are excited and empowered about Private Practice; we are SMART enough to know that there are many options and many doors open to clinicians who are willing to take the leap of faith.
This year, you made me realize that the Influential Therapist isn’t just about private practice. It’s about taking charge and building a business that will help you achieve your goals. It is all about Private Practice for SMART People. The truth is,
You don’t have to be a rocket scientist to have a Private Practice
You know, it can be easy to start a private practice – hang out your shingle and hope for the best. That doesn’t take a lot of energy. It doesn’t even require a whole lot of original thought.
Now… building a private practice; developing a successful private practice; creating a diverse practice that will take you into retirement – those things take hard work and ingenuity. You’ve just got to do it SMART!
You don’t need a workbook for “dummies”. You wouldn’t be looking for a better way to do this if you weren’t SMART! You wouldn’t be taking your precious time to read and comment on the posts and check out the new things I bring to you. You wouldn’t be reaching out to ask questions and get coaching to help reach your goals.
This year, you’ve been challenging you, and you’ve really challenged me too. You’ve challenged me to kick up my game and bring you more of what you need; to continue my own education and search to bring you new ideas, products, programs and techniques to help you achieve your goals.
Just let me tell you that I am up for that challenge. It invigorates me and makes me want to work even harder for you.
I am thrilled and excited to claim this new tagline for the Influential Therapist. I will continue to be Deb Legge, Your Partner in Private Practice. But now, you’ll be an important part of the Influential Therapist: Private Practice for SMART People (PP4SP).
